Viva Institute of Management and Research is a private institution located in Palghar, Maharashtra. VIMR is affiliated to the University of Mumbai and is approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and Directorate of Technical Education (DTE). The institution was founded by the Late Shri. Vishnu Waman Thakur Charitable Trust. The Trust started the Institute of Management Studies in the year 2004. 

In the annals of Maharashtra’s tradition & history , goddess Shri Tulja Bhavani occupies unique position . She is the divine patroness of the state of Maharashtra (Kulswamini the family deity of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj).
