Sri Balaji University Pune
Sri Balaji University, Pune (SBUP) is a private state university located in Tathawade, Pune, Maharashtra. Sri Balaji Society was founded in 1999, and the institution was granted university status in 2019 by the Government of Maharashtra. The university is recognised by the UGC, approved by AICTE for management and technical programmes, and approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI) for legal education. It has been a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) since 2022 and holds NAAC accreditation and ISO 9001:2015 certification.
As per NIRF 2025 (Management category), Sri Balaji University, Pune falls in the 101 to 125 rank band. The Times of India B-School Survey 2025 ranks SBUP among the top 10 B-schools in India.
The campus spans 16 acres in Tathawade, on the outskirts of Pune, with hostel facilities, sports infrastructure, and on-campus MBA classrooms. Tathawade is part of the Pimpri-Chinchwad IT and industrial corridor.
